Only a day before her 29th birthday, Jessica Simpson was dumped by her boyfriend of almost two years, Tony Romo. The NFL star broke the news to her right before her planned “Barbie and Ken” themed birthday party. Romo was spotted that night at LA hotspot “My House” along with a bunch of his buddies.
According to inside sources, Jessica is heartbroken and really loved Tony. She seemed to have played it down on her Twitter page though, “Barbie party didn’t happen, but I turned 29 and feel like I am on top of the world yelling I LOVE GETTING OLDER!”
Jessica who has been busy filming her upcoming TV show “The Price of Beauty” and Romo, who’s getting ready for the upcoming NFL season, might have been too busy for each other and thus couldn’t make the relationship work. Although hurt, Simpson continues to cope with the feelings of break up by being positive, “Everyone needs to know that hope floats … grab the strings and pull it back to you.”
