A well-known media personality with a penchant for generating controversy, Wendy Williams’ is coming to a TV near you. “The Wendy Williams Show” begins it’s syndicated run at 10 a.m. Monday on FOX.

Much like other one hour talk shows, it’ll focus on celebrities, music, relationships, health, food, fashion and other issues that women are interested in. The first show featured Vanessa Williams, and later this week she’ll have on Brooke Burke, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” CeCe Peniston and others.

Williams made a name for herself on the New York radio airwaves doing the show “The Wendy Williams Experience” and parlayed that success into two New York Times bestselling books, “Wendy’s Got The Heat” and “The Wendy Williams Experience.” Her trademark is being a “big mouth” according to her official Web site. What that really means is she brings a biting, fearless honesty to an industry where there is very little of that. Audiences, particularly African American ones because Williams focuses on them, eat it up and have made her into a major success.

With that built in audience of millions of fans, the only question that remains for the self-proclaimed “Queen of All Media” is whether she can continue her hot streak from radio and print and onto national television.
