As an East Coast transplant to the California Coast, I never tried fish tacos until about a year ago. The name scared me at first, but then I was coerced into trying one and was pleasantly surprised. Battered slivers of fresh fish. Delicious vegetables and all rolled into a soft tortilla with Baja sauce. Plus it was warm, flaky and made me want another one. Quickly.
Well, it is with great pleasure that I’m letting you know about the new Baja Fish Tacos at Long John Silvers, the seafood fast-food restaurant whose theme was originally based on the book, “Treasure Island.”
And they’re offering free Baja Fish Tacos today from opening to 2:30 PM at all of their store locations. So, if you happen to live near a Long John Silvers, I suggest that you get there as soon as you can to take advantage of this free Fish Taco giveaway.

Also a transplant (from the Mid-West) who now loves fish tacos. Sooo good! I haven't had Long John Silvers, though. Are there any around here? (LA-area-ish)

I never tried a fish taco before. Seen it on AOL after 1:30pm that they are giving away free Baja Fish Tacos at Long John Silvers. So I jumped in car and headed on over there. I got 2 free fish tacos! Awesome deal. Who said there's no free lunch? Good idea for the company and will make people come back for more. Hopefully they will do this promotion again sometime. Delicious, rich and crispy! Highly recommend trying one no matter who you are.
