Robert Redford Marries Artist Sibylle Szaggars

Robert Redford is one of those guys who, even at the age of 71, makes girls swoon with delight. Well, the iconic movie star and long time bachelor is once again off the market.
Various news sources, including People Magazine, are reporting that Redford, an Oscar winning director and nominated actor best known for roles in films such as “The Natural,” “The Sting” and “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid,” married a 51-year-old German artist named Sibylle Szaggars last weekend. Fifty-one, quite the young chippy for Robert!
This is Redford’s second marriage, he was previous married to Lola van Wagenen for almost 30 years before getting divorced in 1985. Szaggars is an abstract painter whose work has been displayed across Europe, Asia and the Americas according to her official Website.
The ceremony was held Saturday night at the Louis C. Jacob Hotel in Hamburg, Germany, in front of an intimate gathering of 30 people, according to People. E! Online then adds that Redford wore a white suit, Szaggars wore a champagne-colored gown, and the couple is planning a second service in Mexico.
In recent years, Redford has made some movies (including the bomb “Lions for Lambs” with Tom Cruise and Meryl Streep) but has kept relevant more as the face of the Sundance Film Festival, which he founded.
