Pamela Laverne Long is the latest suspect in the Florida double murder investigation of of Byrd and Melanie Billings. Pamela Long, a real estate agent in Florida’s Escambia County, is currently being sought by local authorities and they are asking anyone with any information to contact the police.
According to ABC News, Long was the landlord of Leonard Gonzalez Jr., one of the now eight suspects in this nationally publicized murder case. From a self-defense teacher to a Air Force Sergeant, this growing list of ragtag suspects continues to surprise investigators.
The story first caught national attention after it was reported that these suspected men invaded the Billings residences in ninja suites and killed the parents of thirteen adopted children. The job was said to have been executed with precision and careful planning, as the entire break-in and killing lasted less than ten minutes.
