Troubled, yet talented, singer and paparazzi dream girl Amy Winehouse was finally granted a divorce from her husband in London Thursday.

Her soon to be ex-husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, 27, filed for divorce from the “Rehab” singer earlier this year citing Winehouse’s infidelity. It will become final in six months and a day.

Fielder-Civil and Winehouse seemed like a match made in heaven. After the pair married in 2007, he was in jail six months later for assault. That was just the beginning of not only his legal problems, but the couple’s as well.

Winehouse, 25, became an international star in 2006 with the award-winning album “Back to Black” which featured the monster hit single “Rehab.” That song then became a running joke as Winehouse herself was in and out of rehab and jail for various drug related reasons.

According to MTV, Winehouse’s father Mitch Winehouse accused Fielder-Civil, who was a production assistant on one of Winehouse’s videos, for introducing his daughter to the hard drugs that would become a controlling factor in her life.

For the past few months, Winehouse has been off the grid in St. Lucia, reportedly working on her new album.

Neither her nor Fielder-Civil were actually in court for the announcement.
