At least they left his bow, arrows and pirate booty.
Orlando Bloom, 32, who became an international superstar actor after being in “The Lord of the Rings” and “Pirates of the Caribbean” trilogies was robbed of upwards of $500,000 in jewelry at his Hollywood Hills home Wednesday, according to TMZ.
Bloom was in New York at the time but had a relative staying at his home who noticed that Bloom’s place had been burglarized and phoned the police, according to Radar Online. Apparently, the thieves entered through the window and made off with the jewelry and some cash. Police have been scouring the scene for clues but have no suspects yet.
However, TMZ does mention that law enforcement officials don’t think it’s a “typical burglary.”
In the Radar Online story, they mention that Bloom had recently spent a lot of money to improve security at his home so maybe the fact that the robbers got in through a simple window is a clue that they had previous knowledge, or access, to the home.
The jewelry in question, according to The Telegraph, was mostly Bloom’s prized collection of vintage watches. He had high end watches from Rolex and more, many of which were worn in famous movies.

Ahhh, that sucks. I too have a love for vintage watches, and would be bummed for weeks at a time, if something happened to them.
Tough luck, Legalos.
