Last night, longtime lovers Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner became engaged. First reported via Ivanka’s Twitter account, the twenty-seven-year-old heiress tweeted, “I got engaged last night…truly the happiest day of my life.” Also remarking on the matter was Ivanka’s father, real estate mogul Donald Trump, who told Us Weekly, “I’m very happy about it. They make a magnificent couple.”
Now, while the “magnificent couple” had been dating for a number of years before Jared proposed, things had not always gone smoothly. According to reports, the couple had briefly split in 2008 over worries from the Kushner family that Ivanka was not Jewish enough. However, Ivanka is now reportedly taking Jewish conversion classes, and that seems to have eased any concerns.
Ivanka Trump, for those not familiar, is the heiress to Donald Trump’s real estate fortunes. However, she’s not the Paris Hilton type of heiress, as she does work for her money. Her job? Vice President of Real Estate Development and Acquisitions. Pretty impressive.
As to Jared Kushner, he’s no slouch either. Although also the heir of a large family fortune (also from real estate), the twenty-eight-year-old does work too. Currently, he owns The New York Observer, a successful New York weekly, and he also helps with his family’s real estate investments as well.
As to shared interests – outside of being wealthy, beautiful and heirs and heiresses to real estate fortunes – the couple are also both workaholics. From an interview with New York magazine, “Jared and I are very similar in that we’re very ambitious. That’s what makes it so amazing to be in a relationship with someone who is supportive of that. I’m happy for him when he is in the office working late. I know how good that feels when you sit down and return e-mails.”
No date, as of yet, has been set for the wedding.

Always felt weird when one person of a couple had to change religions to satisfy the family of the other. Unless, I guess, if it was Jared who wanted Ivanka to become a Jew. Still...

This is currently at Sony. What an opportunity! Perhaps Jamie Foxx would be willing to respond to this project? The remake of Sanford and Son. This can be a tribute in honor and recognizing Red Foxx contributions to this industry besides, with the right cast this will be a great movie! The episodes today still remain hilariously funny and touch almost all age groups crossing cultural lines; Foxx did deliver in this character role! The thing that ignited this, I would impersonate Fred G. Sanford and people would enjoy it and the thought hit me! There has not been a Sanford and Son Movie made yet! Della Reese response “Your voice is very much like Redd Foxx’s”. The creativity of makeup artistes today with an acting coach can make me look exactly like Fred G. Sanford. Hilariously funny causing both the muscles in your face and stomach to tighten up from laughing so hard. Some might even fall from their seats. Believe me! You will not be able to keep a straight face. I suggest that you use the restroom first before you enter into this movie. Why? Because you will not be able to hold what is longing inside of you.
