Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland Trailer
Master director Tim Burton is at it again, this time with a reinterpretation of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland, or rather a reimagination. In this version, Alice is nineteen-years-old and, once again, has fallen through the looking glass. Tumbling down into the world of Wonderland, she finds herself back in the world of Cheshire Cats, large caterpillars and weird creatures like the Jabberwock. Featuring many of the same characters, including the Mad Hatter – as played by Johnny Depp – Alice must complete her quest and defeat the Red Queen (played by Helena Bonham Carter) before time runs out. Can she do it?
The teaser trailer, which leaked earlier today, via IGN, looks to keep Burton’s trademark style of flashy colors, magical worlds and dark & creepy, yet gentle and kind creatures. That is to say, it looks great. Check it out for yourself below.
