Kate Major Joins the “Jon and Kate” Saga

Hold on to your hairplugs, Jon Gosselin has a new lady in his life!

Days after Jon was reportedly engaged or at the least, enamored with 22-year-old Hayley Glassman, party girl/daughter of Kate Gosselin’s plastic surgeon extraordinaire, Jon has been seen hand-in-hand in the South Hamptons with Star magazine reporter Kate Major, as in Major lapse of judgment.

I know Jon is into multiples, but this is ridiculous.

Speaking of ridiculous, the two, who also shared a dinner in New York earlier this week, are allegedly holed up in the Hamptons home of none other than Michael Lohan, ex-con and father to Lindsay Lohan.  Lohan explained that “Jon is a friend, he’s a great guy,” and that “Kate (Major lack of taste in men) is like a daughter to me.”  We’ve seen the results of Lohan’s fatherly hand.

Word is that Kate (Major joke of a journalism career), was dispatched by Star to write an article on Gosselin and immediately grew smitten with the smarmy, shiny, mid-life crisis entrenched father of eight.

Should this romance withstand the onslought of media attention, or the weekend, perhaps TLC has a solution for what to do with the upcoming season of Jon & Kate Plus 8.  Kate (Major suprise to eight kids when they have a NEW mommy) has the right name, she’s blond, brash, and with the right haircut (aka reverse mullet), the transition could be seamless and the ratings could be, well, Major.
