Let the mad dash to date the father of eight begin.
Jon Gosselin, star of “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ recently told People Magazine that he’s available. “At this point … I’m single – per se,” Jon told People on Saturday. “I’m just a regular guy who just wants to have friendship and good times. And I like meeting people.”
One of those people the reality show star met was Hailey Glassman, a 22-year-old party girl, who was recently the subject of much media scrutiny. Gosselin says he still cares for her, but that they are on a break. “She doesn’t like this [craziness]. She loves me for who I am and not for what I do,” he said. “We are going to chill out for a while and see where it takes us. I’m not looking for anyone.”
Instead of continuing his days of partying with college girls, Gosselin assured everyone that he’s going to concentrate on his “family first.” “I’m really looking forward to it – to turning my phone off, playing with my kids in the pool and being the dad,” he said.
So he’ll go back to shooting episodes of “Jon & Kate Plus 8,” which comes back to The Learning Channel on August 3, and will showcase how the couple is raising the kids now that they are divorced.
