Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush Call it Quits

She’s the curvy star of an E! reality series and he’s the Heisman Trophy winning running back for the New Orleans Saints. They seemed like a perfect match. But earlier this week, Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush split up after a two plus year relationship.

“They love each other a lot and hope someday they can make it work. But for now, he starts his football season this week and Kim starts filming season four of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, and they just need this time apart,” a source exclusively told E! News.

The separation sort of comes as a shock, especially since a few months ago, the couple were reportedly engaged. However, Kardashian said that it was just her publicist making a slip of the tongue (she accidentally referred to Reggie as Kim’s fiance, which he wasn’t).

Then again, the news was fittingly broken by E!, which also happens to be the network that Kardashian’s show airs on. Hmm. Could this just be a ploy to get people to watch? Probably not. Though Kardashian is no stranger to the spotlight and media manipulation, dating Bush as opposed to someone more famous, always seemed pretty genuine.
