I think this show is absolutely disgusting! Al the women were crying about the how fat they are, maybe the show should surprise everyone and turn it into the biggest loser. This show is not going to make it because no one wants to watch a bunch of whales! It's not OK to be fat, so don't make a show about it! It's sending the wrong message about what is ok and the only ones that are going to disagree with that are fat people! qnd on top of that, the guy seems like a creep!

I watched about half the show last night and then shut it off. I found it completely exploited most of the young women and it sickened me. I don't mind the concept of the show but the way the girls paraded themselves out of that car and the behavior so many of them displayed, as though they were DESPERATE for love made my stomach turn. Why oh why did we have to make yet another show based on someone else's misery? Most of these women exhibited no confidence whatsoever. There were a handful who truly did seem comfortable in their own skin and dressed and acted accordingly.

I hope this show is canceled quickly before permanent harm is done to the young girls who may be watching.

And another thing is, it's a great show because it will take away the extreme prejudice for some people about bigger women and men. It shows they are just like anyone else but have a bigger physical body. So what! "Dangerous precedent"? Lol. Lighten up!

This is an awesome show! I am watching for the first time right now. There is only 15 minutes left to go for tonight's episode and I wish it was longer! I see nothing wrong with it and it's nothing like segregation. I don't see anything wrong with an "all-blondes" show either. This guy likes bigger women, so the bachelorettes should be big women. The regular show: "the Bachelor/Bachelorette" also chooses the type of women that Bachelor wants.

maybe if "larger figured" women were allowed on regular television shows, we wouldn't need our very own. but no! even that is too much for some. got to get all the bigger women off tv!

Agree with ABCD, the author of this article is too quick to assume. If you want an example of train wreck reality shows....heck that's ALL of them! I cannot wait for the reality show fad to die a quick, horrible and painful death. UGGHH!! Somebody want fame?....go find the cure for cancer, win world peace, something. Quit encouraging these self serving shits.

What are you talking about?! This is totally different than singling out blondes or brunettes. Maybe if brunettes were shunned as hideous and incapable of being attractive by the mass media and society at large, it would be the same. This is a class of individuals that has been systematically excluded from these kinds of shows. You don't need a show featuring brunettes because all hair colors are represented on reality shows--all sizes of women are not. I'm not watching it for the potential train wreck, but instead to see a realistic portrayal of bigger women who often get the short end of the stick (undeservedly so). Perhaps the point is exactly that these women aren't any different from the regular bachelorette--society needs to be reminded of this.
