Anderson Cooper Asks ‘Bachelorette’ Jillian Harris the Sex Question

“Like, how many did you actually sleep with?”

Filling in for Regis Philbin on “Live with Regis and Kelly,” CNN Reporter Anderson Cooper asked “The Bachelorette” Jillian Harris the question everyone wanted to asked but was probably too embarrassed too.

Harris, who was appearing on the show Thursday morning with new fiance and winner of the show, Ed Swiderski, almost leaped out of her chair when Cooper said, “How many did you actually hook up with? Like, how many did you actually sleep with?”

This also got Kelly Ripa to jump out of her chair in surprise.

Before Harris answered, Cooper defended himself, saying that she “rubbed oil” all over Ed on national TV and should expect to be asked about it. He forgot to mention the way ABC edited the last show with her and Ed being intimate followed by an erupting volcano.

So, did Ed’s volcano do any real erupting?

“I kissed 10 guys, but only 4 with tongue,” Harris answered. Or, sort of answered. That wasn’t the real question. Still, Cooper had a hilarious response.

“I think I just threw up in my mouth.”

Maybe it’s just the journalist in me, but Cooper was 100% within his rights asking Harris that question and Harris was 100% in her rights to slyly avoid the answer. Either way, it made for great TV.
