The Cost of Jessica Simpson’s Beauty: $25,000

Jessica SimpsonEvery girl spends money to make herself look perfect on the big days of her life. The senior prom, her wedding, each costs ends up costing hundreds or maybe even a few thousand dollars for the brand new dress, professional make up, hair, and all that.

Page Six
reports that VH1 is going to end up spending an incredible $25,000 per episode on Jessica Simpson’s beauty for her new show “The Price of Beauty.”

For $25,000, I think someone could make me look as attractive as Jessica Simpson.

The source told Page Six that “To get her camera-ready each episode will cost $25,000. She insists on using her own hair, makeup and fashion stylists, who are more expensive than J.Lo’s.”

The new show, which will start shooting next week, will take Simpson across the world “all over the world to meet every day women. She may also discover some local pop culture icons on their own quests for beauty along the way. Jessica will study the local fashions, dietary fads and beauty regimes and even participate in some of the extreme practices she discovers,” according to a VH1 press release.

VH1 refused to comment to Page Six saying, “We never comment on what we spend or don’t spend.” Cindi Berger, who is Jessica Simpson’s representation, said “A budget was approved when the deal was made. All parties were satisfied.”

There’s always this stigma that women have to live up to some magazine ad ideal. Well, next time you think about that think about Jessica Simpson and that she won’t get in front of a camera without $25,000 worth of work.
