Hip hop super duper stars Eminem and Kanye West have both been nominated for Video of the Year at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards taking place September 13.
It’s just one of four categories that the rappers – both known for their public feuds – will face off in.
Eminem’s “We Made You” and Kanye’s “Love Lockdown” will go up against Britney Spears’ “Womanizer,” Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies,” Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” in a start studded race for top prize of the night, Video of the Year.
Spears won the award last year for “Piece of Me” and Eminem has already won it twice, for “The Real Slim Shady” in 2000 and “Without Me” in 2002.
Eminem will compete with West in that category as well as Best Male Video, Best Hip Hop Video and Best Special Effects.
Nominees in other popular categories include 3Oh3!, Asher Roth, Drake, Kid Cudi and Lady Gaga in the Best New Artist Category; Beyonce, Pink, Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift in the Best Female Video category and Coldplay, Fall Out Boy, Green Day, Kings of Leon and Paramore in the Best Rock Video category.
