One of the few ways that politicians, actors, athletes and normal people can all be judged as equals is with their fashion. Whether you have someone pick out your outfits for you or you pride yourself on crafting the perfect look, fashion – with the right eye – is the great equalizer.
Case in point is the Vanity Fair Best Dressed List, which was released on Tuesday. It features several categories filled with the most fashionable people in the world – some of whom you’ve heard of and others you haven’t.
On the “Women” list, recognizable names include Anne Hathaway, Penelope Cruz, Alicia Keys and Kelly Ripa. For the “Men,” there’s Tiki Barber, Daniel Craig, Brad Pitt and even President Barack Obama among others.
Noticeably missing is Pitt’s lady, Angelina Jolie, who was on the list in previous years alongside Pitt in the “Couples” category. However, Obama’s lady Michelle makes the list in the “First Ladies” category.
Other categories on the list include “Originals,” “Siblings,” “Professionals” and “Hall of Fame,” which features Catherine Deneuve and Renee Zellweger.
