Did Ed Swiderski Cheat on ‘The Bachelorette’ Jillian Harris?

For “The Bachelorette” Jillian Harris, it was the night of her dreams. After weeks of dating all these eligible men in front of cameras, she had made her decision. She wanted Ed Swiderski. And he proposed. And all seemed right with the world.

Days later, according to an exclusive report in the latest Us Weekly, Ed cheated on his new fiance not once, but twice. Ed and Jillian say it’s not true though.

Ed’s ex-girlfriends Lindsey Johnson and Bethany Steffen have both come out and said that while Ed was shooting the show, and even after he was chosen, he was secretly dating both of them.

“Ed’s not worth my time, but if I can help someone avoid heartbreak, I’m gonna do that,” Steffen told Us as the reason why she is coming out.

Both the ladies have emails and texts proving that Ed was talking to them during the filming and even badmouthing his new fiance. He texted to Johnson that Jillian Harris wasn’t his “type” because he likes “blonds” and ended it with “I love you.”

“Lindsey and I are both smart girls, and Ed just has this way of making people believe what he wants. Jillian needs to be careful,” Steffan said.

On “Good Morning America” Wednesday morning, Swiderski and Harris responded to the claims. “”It’s actually not true at all,” he said. “Jillian and I have been the target of being one of the very few successful couples on the show. We’re clearly being targeted because we’re happy.”

“I think that these women are very hurt, and that they did love Ed. It must be very painful,” Harris said. “That was in the past. Those are past relationships.”
