As we head towards the last month of summer, we’re probably looking more tanned or sunburned than usual with trips to the swimming pool or perhaps weekends spent underneath the blazing sun at the local beach. Even if you’re a hard-core skincare addict that applies high SPF Sunblock religiously, there are still times when all of us could use a brightening facial to decrease pore size or increase your skin’s glow factor. Enter the Murad Pomegranate Exfoliating Mask (Recently part of our Twirlit weekly giveaway) which I was excited to try as I’m a huge fan of skincare but not a huge fan of expensive facials.
The Murad Pomegranate Exfoliating masks are a pretty good deal with 6 disposable masks that you apply directly to your skin for the total price of $22.50. Each treatment mask contains antioxidant rich Pomegranate and Ginkgo Biloba Extracts to fight free radicals and inflammation as well as fruit enzymes and AHAs to dissolve tired skin cells.
After using this product for the recommended time of 20 minutes, I was immediately made aware of how much brighter and even-toned my skin seemed. Considering that I live in Southern California, I find that the dry air tends to wreak havoc on my skin even if applying proper moisture and SPF. I’d also definitely use this mask after a long flight as well to add some moisture back into my skin. (Even if the mask would scare the person sitting next to me in the plane)
Plus the smell is fresh, fruity, and the price is right!
