Aerosmith Cancels the Rest of Summer Tour

If you ever needed proof that the rock band Aerosmith was a little bit over the hill, read this story. And get ready to refund your tickets.

A few weeks ago, 61-year old front man Steven Tyler famously fell off a stage while performing in South Dakota. Now, a younger man might have popped right back up and continued the show. However, Tyler was pretty messed up and had to be rushed to the hospital. It came out later that he broke his shoulder and got 20 stitches.

Well, doctors have advised Tyler that dancing around on a stage and singing with a broken shoulder probably isn’t the best idea. And that means Aerosmith’s Summer tour has been canceled.

“Words can’t express the sadness I feel for having to cancel this tour,” guitarist Joe Perry said in the statement released to the press. He also said he hopes “”we can get the Aerosmith machine up and running again as soon as possible.”

If you have tickets to any of the remaining shows, which include Seattle, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York and many more, refunds will be available at the point of purchase.

Obviously, we want Tyler to get better so that he can entertain us until he’s old and grey. Oh wait, he already is.
