Christian Siriano Joins Forces with Victoria’s Secret

Project Runway winner Christian Siriano wants to do more than dress you. He wants your make up to look fierce too. He teamed up with Victoria’s Secret to create a limited-edition line of cosmetics called Christian Siriano for VS Makeup, which launched earlier this month.

The line is inspired by Egypt and The Nile River as is his Fall ‘09 clothing collection. The reflective gold packaging evokes the luxe richness of Egypt and the color palette include Oasis (a beachy blue), Sahara (a champagne sand) and Gilded Fierce (a gold-speckled black). The line includes five eye shadows colors, three lip gloss shades, a black kajal eyeliner (super sleek packaging), a bronzer-highlighter trio, a face brush and a ruffled cosmetics bag. Priced between $12-$18, it’s an affordable way to get a piece of the designer’s work.

The collection just hit stores but I was able to preview the collection last April. Here are some images from the fashion show that I attended. Several Victoria Secret models including Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio and Candice Swanepoel walked the runway showing off his clothing and makeup.
