Ryan Jenkins, a finalist on the new VH1 reality show Megan Wants a Millionaire, has been named as a “person of interest” in the investigation of the death of his 28-year-old wife, former swimsuit model Jasmine Fiore. ABC’s Good Morning America reports that Fiore’s body was found strangled and stuffed in a suitcase on Saturday morning in Buena Park, California, just days after Jenkins had reported her missing. Jenkins has not been seen since.

Police suspect that he may be headed to his native Canada, and ABC’s Los Angeles affiliate KABC reported today that authorities put out an alert asking people to watch out for either his black BMW X5 with Canadian plates HLY275 or Fiore’s missing car, a white 2007 Mercedes CL S550.

Frank DiStefano, a local resident in Buena Park, found the suitcase when he was looking for recyclables in the trash. When he confirmed that there was indeed a body inside, he immediately called 911.

Fiore worked as a Las Vegas bikini model and was also seen in ads for radio host Howard Stern. KABC reported that Fiore, who had recently moved to Los Angeles, was working as a rep for Playboy’s “Girls of Golf” at a poker game in San Diego when she disappeared. Jenkins was with her.

  1. Why do these people think they can just get away with it? First there was this guy in Utah a few years back – Mark somebody. Now this guy. Do they really think nobody’s going to find out? Shame on you, Ryan. Shame, shame! :(

  2. Wow, how sad. Only twenty-eight? And what a horrible way to die. And to be found. I hope whoever is responsible is found immediately.
