Vogue Pulls Back the Curtain with “The September Issue”

Oh my gosh, I am giddy imaging the cat-fights that will be exposed in the new documentary about the creation of Vogue’s revered September issue of the magazine. With all the animal skins the magazine’s top editors wear, the fir will literally be flying in The September Issue.

Finally, the truth -or at least what Anna allowed in the final cut- behind all the gossip will be revealed. Is Anna Wintour really the boss-from-hell? Is she everything that Meryl Streep portrayed her to be in The Devil Wears Prada? Oh, I get chills just thinking about all the behind-the-scenes dirt that will be dug up.

This really is a rare glimpse into the Vogue world. I’m surprised Anna allowed common cameramen and movie folk to walk the hallowed grounds of the Vogue offices. Then again, the magazine business ain’t what it used to be. So, I’m sure a potential surge in readership is behind her willingness to participate in this documentary.

I hope one of the cameramen happened to get Anna Wintour on film removing her wig and exposing the two little horns protruding from her head. Only kidding…I just can’t help proliferating the very negative image of Vogue’s editor in chief. I should cut her a little slack. After all, it must be tough running a magazine. And being so rich.
