Mark Lester Tells TODAY Show He May Be Father of Michael Jackson’s Kids

Mark Lester is singing a tune just the opposite of “Billie Jean” – the kid might be his son. The former British child actor, whom Michael Jackson chose to be the godfather of his four children, told Matt Lauer on this morning’s TODAY show that he might be the biological father of those same kids.
“It’s a possibility that one, or, all very unlikely, but all but one of those kids may be mine,” he said. Lester added that whether he is or not won’t change the status quo of the situation, and that he only came forward because the story was about to break in the UK, and he didn’t want his four children finding out from the press. (Interestingly, Jackson was their Godfather.)
There has been speculation that Lester’s 15-year-old daughter, Harriet, bears resemblance to Jackson’s daughter Paris, but after a side-by-side comparison (she joined her father at the TODAY show studios), it seemed possible but not obvious that they could be related.
Lester said that Jackson confided in him that he was uncomfortable with having sex with a woman, and somehow the conversation moved to Lester donating sperm. This is where the story gets a bit strange – if MJ was uncomfortable with sex, why couldn’t he have used his own sperm for artificial insemination? Was his sperm no good? When Lauer asked these questions of Lester he simply said, “I don’t know.”
Something tells me this won’t be the last we hear of this “development” in the neverending MJ story…
Disgusting! With friends like these MJ never needed enemies. I’m glad he’s gone so he doesn’t have to deal with all this crap, though I feel sorry for his children.
Uh, this guy kept his secret (and donated his sperm). Don’t see how this makes him an “enemy” per se. Sure, he’s coming out with the story now, but that’s – at least according to his story – because it was about to come out anyway.
And considering he’s kept it to himself all these years, I have to give him the benefit of the doubt.
But yeah, shitty for the kids.
I don’t get why now? Who cares if it was going to get out in the UK? If he wanted to know the truth he would have known through Michael. I don’t think coming out with this would make his relationship with the Jackson family, especially the children any better. How would you feel just months after your only parent passes away then someone and in this case, a close family member came out to say “Hey I think I’m your biological father!” Biological father or not, MJ was the FATHER of these kids! Just leave them alone already!
Mark Lester is slightly less revolting here than he was during his appearance on UK television. I think it has to do with his learning a little from the backlash over his going public with his story.
Anyway, if you’re going by physical appearance, I would say that Paris is not Lester’s biological daughter. To me, she looks like Debbie Rowe and Michael ’s father Joe. Definitely mixed race, in any case, especially in the photograph used in this video.
No way is he the father, he needs to leave MJ’s children alone and get on with his own life.
