As if it isn’t ridiculous enough that we declare someone from our single planet “Miss Universe” (are there really no hot aliens out there somewhere?), check this out. According to MTV News, Heidi Montag, who is only famous for being a rich kid on The Hills, is now a pop star. The blond Britney wannabe made her television debut last night at the Miss Universe pageant, where she sang her single “Body Language” off her self-titled first album due out next month.
The 22 year-old wore sparkly nude track pants and a button-up black shirt, only to tear off her top and reveal a nude-colored bra. She was clearly channeling her idol Britney’s performance of “Oops! …I Did It Again” at the 2000 VMAs. Surrounded by dancers in black, Heidi danced and lip-synched throughout the performance, which was interspersed with footage of the Miss Universe contestants.
Apparently Heidi shared her excitement with the world on Twitter before the show, writing, “All things are possible with God!” and also ”Dreams do come true! Enjoy every moment of this short life!! Today is the BIG day. Thank you God!” Yes, I’m sure God was really focused on Heidi’s gyrations. Ah well, she may not have him to thank for any discernible talent, but she probably owes him a Tweet or two for luck – and for being born Heidi Montag. Plus, you have to admit that she looks pretty fabulous.

yeah, if you can even call that dancing. Ive seen 7th grade talent shows with better moves than that. its shame that if you are hot (store bought or otherwise) it is assumed you can make it in the entertainment industry. it was pretty entertaining, though, just not for the reasons she was hoping for
