The party’s over for everyone’s favorite Working Girl. According to Fox News, Melanie Griffith checked into Cirque Lodge rehab facility in Utah, the same detox hotspot that Lindsay Lohan, Eva Mendes, Kirsten Dunst and Mary-Kate Olsen have stayed at. Costs at Cirque range from $30,000 to $45,000 for a 30-day stay.
Melanie’s publicist says the 52 year-old actress has “made a commitment to stay healthy,” but the word is that her husband Antonio Banderas was getting tired of her unpredictable behavior. The couple has been married for 13 years. You’d think he would have known she’s a little off her rocker, though, considering she has been married four times – and two of those times were to Don Johnson. This also isn’t the first time she’s been admitted to rehab.
Here’s my favorite part of the story: apparently someone who worked with Melanie said her crazy antics of late included “a multitude of crazy demands, including insisting everything around her, from the food to the flowers, be yellow.” Yowza. Yellow flowers are nice, but a yellow diet? There’s only so much Sunny D and corn on the cob one can eat, you know?
Melanie last worked on an episode of Nip/Tuck, which will air next year.
