ITALIAN SWIMMER SUFFERS ‘COSTUME MALFUNCTION’

An Italian swimmer was left red faced and tearful following an embarrassing costume malfunction.

Flavia Zoccari was competing at the Mediterranean Games in Pescara, Italy when the fastening on her swimming costume failed – leaving her bottom exposed.

The mishap occurred just before the start of the 200m race, forcing Zoccari to withdraw because there wasn’t time for her to change.

The tearful swimmer was left trying, and failing, to cover her modesty with her hand as she withdrew from the side of the swimming pool.

The costume in question was the ‘Jaked’ super body, which was approved, then rejected by the Swimming Federation, before finally being approved again.
