Jon and Kate Plus 8 are soooo last year. Only eight kids? Lameo. Now it’s all about Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, the fertile parents behind the new TLC show 18 Kids and Counting. This morning the Arkansas family told the Today Show they are expecting their 19th child.
Michelle, who is 42 and has been pregnant for a ridiculous total of 12 years of her life, didn’t take very much time off;. She had her 18th child, Jordyn-Grace, just eight months ago. Still, she’s happy about it. “We are thrilled to announce that we found out we’re expecting our 19th child,” she told Today’s Meredith Vieira from hers home in Springdale, Arkansas.
The new Duggar will be due after the first grandchild will be born; back in June, the Duggar’s eldest child Josh and his wife Anna learned that their child due in October will be a baby girl. Josh and Anna have already picked out a name: Mackynzie Renee. (Josh has a cousin named Mackynzie, and Anna’s middle name is Renee.)
Michelle knew something was not quite right with her body when she joined Weight Watchers but just couldn’t lose the weight from her last baby. Jordyn-Grace would also fuss every time she nursed, which was unusual. Finally, Michelle took a pregnancy test and found out she was indeed preggers.
