Taking a hilarious and beloved teen movie and turning it into a a half-hour TV show could have been disastrous…but 10 Things I Hate About You is actually amazing and hilarious. The first season’s finale airs Tuesday @ 8 on ABC Family.
1. Kat and Bianca
Much like the movie, we’ve got the bitchy Kat (Lindsey Shaw) and perky and popularity-obsessed Bianca (Meaghan Jette Martin)…but neither becomes a stereotype, and as much as they butt heads, they also have that innate sisterly love for each other.
2. Ethan Peck
He’s the mysterious bad boy, complete with deep voice and intense eyes. A couple eps ago, the girls’ dad Larry Miller even pointed out that he has disturbingly deep voice and looks way older than 17. Loves it!
3. Cameron
(Nicholas Braun)
Bianca’s tall nerdy friend who can’t seem to convince everyone he isn’t gay. To Kat: “You’re Bianca’s sister. You’re scary.”
4. Larry Miller
The Dad (and the only actor to reprise his role from the movie). I’m looking forward to seeing where his love life goes!
5. Joey Donner
He’s a model, but instead of being douchey and evil like Andrew Keegan in the movie, he’s this upbeat closeted surfer type. Will he hook up with the fabulous dude that wears pink?

I have to agree with you Amanda, the series-from-a-movie concept could have been disastrous - but it's not. I can't seem to get enough of the show myself. And I just love your writing style, you always make me want to read more. :)
