There are news stories that make you sit up and wonder if the people in the article were born with half of the normal amount of allotted brain cells. This is such an article. The UK’s Times Online reports, that Japan’s new First Lady, Miyuki Hatoyama, has revealed that, “I went to Venus in a UFO.” She also says, “While my body was sleeping, I think my spirit flew on a triangular-shaped UFO to Venus. It was an extremely beautiful place and was very green.” Of course it was.
Her husband, Yukio Hatoyama, Japan’s new Prime Minister, is not actually embarrassed by his wife’s admission that she’s hung out with the relatives of E.T because she is known as a “tarento”, or “talent” — televisual artists or entertainers who are expected and encouraged to be more unpredictable, flamboyant, and vividly colored than the rest of us.”
Mrs. Hatoyama is also a good friend of Tom Cruise, arguably one of the most famous movie stars in the world, and a well-known Scientologist. She says, “He was Japanese in his past life, and we were together so when I see him, I will say, ‘Hi. It’s been a long time,’ and he will immediately understand.”
When she’s not spending time reconnecting with her spiritual self, Hatoyama is also a “lifestyle composer, and has written several books including “Welcome to the Hatoyama Home,” “Miyuki Hatoyama’s Spiritual Food,” and “Miyuki Hatoyama’s Have a Nice Time.” And last, but not least, Mrs. Hatoyama energizes each morning by taking bites of the sun for breakfast and saying, “Yum, yum, yum. I get energy from it. My husband also does this.”
I wonder what would happen if our First Lady said any of the above quotes? Yeah, thought so.

I like her!
Michelle Obama gets in enough trouble as is for things she didn’t even say, can’t imagine what’d happen if she actually said some of this stuff …
But yeah, the Japanese. Interesting folk.
