New Website Allows You to Make Tees, Get Paid

Fancy yourself a designer? A master at Photoshop? A lover of t-shirts? Well, if you’re any one of the three, the website teepay.com is made for you.

How cool is this idea? A website that allows creative-minded average folks to design and sell t-shirts. Who doesn’t love a great t-shirt? You know there will always be a demand for t-shirts, so creating a site where people can design and sell custom shirts is a pretty smart idea. And the designers (YOU) make 10% on every t-shirt sold. This is the perfect idea for the current recession. A way to earn a little saving money.

I know you might be thinking, how is this different than walking into Urban Outfitters and picking out a t-shirt from stacks upon stacks of hipster tees? Well, it’s the customization. When you buy a shirt off the website, your risk of wearing the same t-shirt as a friend is far less than if you strolled into Urban and picked up a t-shirt with the latest clever slogan scrawled on it, like ”Broke is the New Black.”

Currently, the site has around 800 unique designs. The only problem you’ll have is trying to pick just one, or two, or three you really love from the entire selection available. You could spend an entire day sitting at your computer browsing the selection.

Twitter is abuzz with excitement about Teepay. As it should be. Because, in a way, Teepay is just like Twitter, and Facebook and Myspace. It’s seems fashion is merging with online social networking and forming a new breed of Internet community. Hooray to Teepay!
