I agree with Jenni and Fatima, First off you can not blame anyone but YOU if you dont get results, and these pills that EVERYONE seem to be trying to market some are crap but some are to benefit as well, and you can either chose to use them or not, just because they are out there dose not mean you ahve to use them and just becuase Jillian market some dose not completly take away from everything she has said. dont beat some one down because ultimately you are adult and responsible for YOU and your health not Jillian, so if you are not getting results you need to ask your self why, Eat right, put the work in it and you will get results, I am so tired of people acting as if what some one else do or out makes or break them. You are in contrall of you, and let me just say if you had something you believed in and was able to market it and make money, you would too, so lets not be all high and mighty. Take responsibility for you.

I did her detox and cleanse which is actually Really good. it cleaned alot of waste out of my system which is great since not everyone can afford a regular colonique. Months late I tried the weight loss pills to accompany my rigorous workout. Those pills are NOT safe in ym opinion. I have constant diarrea and am quit dehydrayed due to that. I just trashed those pills!!!

To those who think her pills are different b/c they say "use with diet and exercise", take a look at any other diet pill out there... they ALL say that. Dexatrim, Hydroxycut, Herbalife, etc, etc, etc. Besides, sometimes "natural" ingredients mixed with other "natural" ingredients can be life threatening if used continuously.

beside, cocaine is "natural" too and 100% dangerous. "Natural" doesn't mean anything.

I saw these at Wal-Mart this weekend and checked out her site and sure enough they're for sale on her site too. I am very disappointed with her. I nearly idolized her for her no-nonsense, get to the point workout attitude. :( I'm very bummed about this. (And quite angered too, actually).

Jillian's UNIV. classes in what? I can't find ANY classes she took at the Calif.Univ. she went to - one article says she graduated, another
said she was a "dropout" - which is
true? If she "graduated" from a Univ.
what degree does she have? Does
Jillian have any certification in
any academic studies? It is said she
has a 30-hr fitness cert & a 3-day wrkshop's 2nd fitness certificate - is that all the instruction she has?
Dietitians/Nutitionists usually have
degrees? People in these 2 areas are
always stating their academic studies
certifications, degrees, not Jillian and yet she's knowledgeable as a
nutritionist or dietitian? - WITHOUT college courses at any school at all for these? SHE'S JUST A FRAUD THAT IS PUT ON DISPLAY BY A BIG AGENT THAT'S BEHIND ALL HER LIES! SHE SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO GIVE ADVICE ON NUTRITION UNTIL SHE CLARIFIES SHE HAS HAD CLASSES AND/OR TRAINING IN
THESE FIELDS! SHE'S A MARTIAL ARTS
BLACK BELT FEMALE THAT SOME AGENT HAS
TAKEN UNDER HIS WING & HAS PUT IN THE LIMELIGHT CLAIMING SHE HAS "ALL" THIS NUTRITION KNOWLEDGE TO MAKE MONEY - SHE'S A FRAUD!! AUTHORITIES
HAD BETTER STOP HER BEFORE SHE KILLS SOMEBODY EITHER RIGHT ON NBC OR JUST
AN OBESE FAN/FOLLOWER BELIEVING IN HER (DANGEROUS-FOR-THE-OBESE)"OVERLY INTENSE" EXERCISE ROUTINES, OR, AN INDIVIDUAL WHO CONTINUES TO BELIEVE IN HER "LOSE-WEIGHT-FAST" SUPPLEMENTS - IN SPITE OF THE THREE LAWSUITS FILED AGAINST HER (2010)ON
THESE BEING POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS TO
ONES HEALTH. (DEREK)

Well I had a brilliant thought that I would try these pills. I'm usually in great shape, but due to some unforseen circumstances, stress has made me gain about 10 pounds. I thought these pills would help me with energy and appetite while I was back exercising again. DO NOT TRY THESE PILLS! I had all of the side effects and seriously thought that I would have to go to the hospital! Diarrhea, increased nervousness, accelerated heart rate and night sweats. I passed out while trying to run to the bathroom. Please DO NOT take! Not worth it!!!!! B

From www.antibiggestloser.com:

"....Perhaps Jillian Michaels forgot what she wrote in the “Dispelling Myths” section of her book Winning by Losing:

“Diet pills and surgical weight loss options are two more examples of detrimental quick fixes. Diet products and procedures are simply gimmicks that target people’s apathy and hopelessness about their own health.”

I guess targeting people’s hopelessness is only OK if the buck lands in your pocket.... "

I agree 100% with Kelly Turner. I just found this site today after I saw Jillian's ad in my Oxygen Magazine and I was crushed. She has been someone I have respected and admired for many years. I posted my displeasure on her Facebook fanpage and subsequently received a few angry fan(antic) messages. :)

Her association with a FAT BURNER/DIET/WEIGHT LOSS supplement is such a disappointment to me, my clients and many of my peers. The way the product is marketed - "EXTREME QUICKSTART Rapid Weight Loss Program""should give any clear-headed thinking person an indication that it is pure snakeoil salesmen.

My point is: You do not need this crap in your body. Eating "as close to the earth" as possible is the way to be healthy. Nature's Pharmacy is fruits, veggies, whole grains and the like, not concoctions of stimulants, primarily of a number of xanthine-type stimulants (i.e., caffeine and theobromine); specifically: guarana, coffee, kola nut, and cocoa, citrus products (orange and grapefruit extracts), cayenne pepper and willow bark extract. Anyone who buys or believes such nonsense is very naive.

Think Critically people.

Kelly, my mistake you are not the same Kelly whom is selling the book I was referring to. It is a woman named Kelly Glass and I mistook her for you. She was on another website criticizing Jillian in the exact same way as this website and then she was promoting her book, "Eat Fried Chicken and still be Thin" All at the same time.

First off go to Google and type in, "is supplementation necessary" and then read what the experts have to say. You will find an abundance of proof from scientists and doctors who back up Jillian. Asking regular people on the Internet has no weight on the issue as they don't know anything other than the fact that they are lazy and don't feel like doing their homework. They are just talking off the top of their heads because they don't know any better. They aren't fit, they aren't healthy and they don't understand how to get there. Anyone at all in the industry of body building, training, etc will tell you that supplements are necesary. I promise you that! Here is just one paragraph which may help you a bit in understanding why. First, it helps to understand that everything that happens in our bodies, from the beating of our hearts to the growth of a fingernail, happens through a series of complicated metabolic reactions that require specific nutrients. Without sufficient amounts of these various vitamins and minerals, these processes can become slowed, abnormal, or impaired. Eventually, they may even stop altogether.

So, can you get all the nutrients you need simply by eating a healthy diet? Yes...in theory. Our ancestors did it. But our food supply isn't what it used to be. The nutrients in our soil have been depleted from years of pesticides and pollution. Additionally, the packaged and processed foods that are so common in our culture are not only nutrient void; they actually rob our bodies of vital nutrients. Consequently, even a person who tries to eat with nutrition as a primary concern may still be lacking in some of the most basic nutrients.

I believe supplementation is essential for maintaining a healthy body.

what book am I trying to sell? I put up the responses I recieved to a question I asked to the entire internet- and it was not biased because not a single person said they were behind these products.

supplements are unecessary, and usually unsafe, and I have not seen any research (besides provided by her company) to indicate otherwise. Sorry, but I am not easily convinced because her face is recognizable to the public

Kelly Turner (author of this mess) will probably delete this. But her book says, "Eat Fried Chicken and still lose weight." Kelly, is that the way we are suppose to live our lives? I mean the 8 grams of trans fat, my heart says, "No thank you". Jillian wants me to take a supplement loaded with nurtrients. That sounds so much healthier and my heart loves the sound of that, so does my skin. What we put into our bodies makes or breaks us in so many ways. Cells completely renew themselves every couple of months and my skin, eyes, and hair would look so much prettier with extra supplements than with fried chicken. Unless you are frying it in a healthy oil, still with only needing about 2 tbs of oil a day (and only certain kinds) I don't think that sounds very much like fried chicken. Or is that a scam to get us to buy your book since you feel you need to bash Jillian in order to sell your book. I mean, why not just promote the good in it rather slamming Jill. She isnt' slamming you or anyone in order to sell her product. She isn't vendictive. She has enough good and belief in what she is doing that bashing is not necessary and not her style. You aren't doing yourself any favors by acting nasty on here. And you also don't sound very educated if you are allowing this to take place on this website. Shame on you KELLY!

I honestly don't think anyone on this site understands HOW to get into shape. If you knew then you would never criticize supplements. I just know enough about diet, exercise and nutrition to know it goes hand in hand. I do believe that is the problem here. You all don't get how to get into shape and stay there. Like I said, if it were easy and understandable, we'd all be in excellent shape. But the majority of folks don't understand how the body works. Plain and simple. Nursing degree? Many doctors are heavy, more nurses than not are overweight. I am not convinced that they teach you in nursing school what you need to know to have a strong and healthy physique. This is totally different and outside of your expertise. A trainer would know, a nurse just couldn't understand everything needed to do what it takes. From the exercises to the types of exercises to the heart rate required during that, to interval training, cardio, weight lifting, to rest periods (length) to proper stretching (when, how, how long), to massages, to supplements to when to exercise. To what foods contain what and what that does to your body (good and/or the bad), etc. Nurses know a lot, but this stuff. I have never been in the health care industry, but I bet even I can challenge you and up you on the body and how it works.

One more thing. Consistency is the key to success. If Jillian has helped a lot of people lose weight, then why in the world wouldn't you trust her? You can ASSUME she is selling supplements to make money and it is an unhealthy scam. But do you KNOW that for sure? For absolute and 100% certain she is ONLY doing this for the money and that the pills for a fact don't work and/or that they will harm you? You really have to have proof if you want to prove a point and get others to listen to you and believe you. Without proof, you just sound like a chicken with your head cut off running around trying to figure out where you are. It just seems to me that a woman with glowing skin and gorgeous shiny hair and a perfect body who has helped 100s of people lose weight knows what she is doing. She is sharing that with you all. Why not actually give her advice a whirl and THEN you can give us your feedback. It just certainly seems more dangerous to walk around with diabetes, excess weight, possible heart disease, etc than it is to take a supplement to enhance a healthy diet and exercise program. I mean weigh your options. . .which one is the more harmful? If it were easy to do it without any help, no one would be fat. Why not recognize what you've done hasn't worked, maybe there is a smarter alternative out there and an expert is trying to tell you that. Take the pills to your doctor, what does he/she say? Jillian says she believes in doing things the natural and healthy way, who is to say that supplements aren't natural? Vitamins are necessary, we accept that, so why not accept fat burners and her supplements? You people just make no sense! Please, get your facts about EVERYTHING, before you jump on here and rant about crazy stuff. Ie: The woman in the first post who couldn't remember the magazine Jillian was on where she said you could lose up to 19 lbs in a week. It was Woman First, I bought it, I read it, I understood it, I tried it and I lost 7 lbs and have not gained it back. It was just an article on foods (real foods) which aid the body naturally in weight loss, and what causes us to hold fat in our stomachs etc. Every single word in that article made complete sense. IE, it talked about how pollutants in our fruits do bad things and how the plastic in our containers and in certain suran wraps contain (something bad, forgot name) that can make you gain in your stomach and it explained WHY. Everything she says, she backs up with proof and evidence. Such as this works for this and this is why, etc. You all can't say that. You have no valid proof. It would do all of your bodys' a world of good to get off this site and do your homework. What you learn about science and your bodies could really help you!

If you are using the FDA as an excuse to mean it is safe or unsafe, then that is purely an uneducated thing to say without doing your homework. Alli (someone here mentioned) is FDA approved. Read the warning signs of it. On 20/20 & Fox News they let the public know it causes cancer polps in rats. On the Mayo Clinic Website it tells you that Alli can cause liver damage and if you begin peeing blood, you should stop taking the drug and call your doctor, etc. The list goes on with the warnings. ANYONE who has been successful in working out and obtaining a healthy body will tell you that supplements are a part of the entire package. From vitamins, to supplements to creatine, to whey protein powder, etc. They are a PART of the solution and they work together to help you achieve and then maintain your goals. They are not a permanent solution, you use them as needed and decide what works best with your body. I have read comment after comment here yet NO ONE can tell me if they tried them. Are all of you in excellent shape? Has anyone here even tried this? The majority of the ingredients in her product are healthy supplements. She is so smart, she understands science, she knows how to knock 100 lbs off of someone in 6 weeks. Can anyone here do that? If ya can't say yes to these questions, then frankly I feel you don't have a leg to stand on in your debate about something you are not an expert on! Jillian is an amazing woman who has done NOTHING but good things for a lot of people and we have seen the proof again and again. So why in the world would you bash her? Give me VALID proof that a person who takes training seriously in the gym shouldn't use supplements. Go to your gym tomorrow and talk to every single trainer in there, find someone you respect and ask them. I am going to venture to bet that probably all of them will tell you that supplements are a necessary part of getting the body you desire. Go for it!

What would you do if someone came up to you and asked if you would be on the front cover of there product & give u 10 mill would u take or it leave? Shut up, u would take it. And yes it is all natural! Sooo just let it be. Jillian naturally cares about people and there well being otherwise she would not be so successful.

I have all of Jillian's DVDs, and she is so motivational, especially when she is yelling 'don't phone it in, that's not what I am about!' I believe that Jillian is a natural motivator, who not only wants to make money (like everyone else), but genuinely cares about getting people in the best shape of their lives. As a 'skinny bitch', I have maintained that status working out with Jillian, but also by eating right (also have her books) and by taking natural supplements (almost all drugs have a natural resource). The problem is that people are lazy and they want quick results. Supplements don't help you unless you get off your ass. Go Jillian!!!!

I had my baby four months ago, and I put on 60lbs because I don't know why. I thought that that was the thing to do when you are pregnant. I am so sorry I did that, now I am trying to lose the weight and I am on the last 13lbs to go. The pills have helped me so much, they give me the energy to workout, and help me control my appetite, specially since I have a skinny husband who eats a lot of junk food. I mean we buy junk food at "Mas" a mexican whole sale food place, but he always picks like 12inch tall packs of tortillas of both kinds flour and corn, plus boxes of chocolates, little cakes, cookies, he is a junk food master and I am staring at all of these thing in my pantry, trying to lose weight. The pill is not a magic thing I started taking pills ONLY for 1 month they did not do a thing, but if you combine them with exercise and proper diet, they help out a lot. The work out is intensive and hard and to do it properly I need energy so the pills help me finish my workouts and most importantly they help me start the workouts. Hey KELLI you wrote the last 10 lbs was hard, how long did it take you to lose the last 10lbs. Please let me know so that I can be patient with myself and not get discourage. thanks.

Bottom line people, anything you intake in excess or for a long period of time can be harmful weather is FDA approved or not. Jillian's supplements are just that, supplements that aid during training and that are not intended for use for the rest of your life. I think once people start trying it and bloging their awesome results it will be a great hit even if some of you claim it goes against what she preaches. People want to c results, thats all..Go Jillian!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think that Jillian is a sell out at all. She put out a product that she believed in. Jillian is dedicated to her cause and she knows that sometimes you just need a little extra help to loose weight. She is not promoting them as magic pills. You still need to get off your lazy butt, exercise and watch what you eat. She does not put her name on anything that she does not believe in. I for one am happy that she came out with a line of weight loss products because I trust her name. They are all natural and don't have a crazy amount of caffeine in them. You guys can all sit back in judge. Just because you don't personally believe in something doen not mean it is wrong or that Jillian is a sell out.

I purchased those fat burner pills yesterday and on the box it says to include with exercise and a healthy diet...even on the biggest looser it says that those participants diet, exercise, and they also took some sort of supplement...These pills are intended to be used in conjunction WITH a good diet and exercise not as a miracle pill that allows you to sit on your butt and munch all day and still loose weight. I don't see anything wrong with it.
