Daniel Henney. You don’t know him, do you? Well, soon you will.

Originally from Carson City, Michigan, Henney flew to South Korea to find out more about his mother’s birth country, as he is of both British-American and Korean heritage. Soon after, Henney was discovered by local modeling scouts and was asked to star in a Korean TV drama entitled, “My Name is Kim Sam Soon.” This TV series was immensely successful throughout Asia, and he’s been everywhere from TV dramas to modeling ads with Gwyneth Paltrow. (Beanpole, anyone?)

Most recently, he starred as “Agent Zero,” in “X-Men Origins: Wolverine,” and plays Dr. David Lee on the new CBS show, “Three Rivers,” about medical drama set in a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania hospital dedicated to organ transplants. Alex O’ Loughlin and Katherine Moenning also star in the series.

He’s known in Asia for his hotness, but not exactly his acting ability. The question is…will he prove critics wrong with his turn as the heartbreaker Dr. Lee? We’ll see…but hey, it doesn’t hurt to look.
