There was more than just bad behavior at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards. There was a whole lot of bad fashion, too!
Where should I begin? I guess I’ll just start with the obvious: Lady Gaga. Of her multiple outfits throughout the night, none were good. There was the Victorian black widow getup she wore down the red carpet, her skimpy white performance outfit and then the red lace dress that completely covered her face (topped with red crown). Blech. She looked entirely uncomfortable the whole night. There’s a woman who really suffers for fashion. And she makes the rest of us suffer, too.

Jennifer Lopez looked like she put her dress on wrong given the way it was crisscrossed around her neck and hung around her arms. It just looked all around bad. Kanye West and girlfriend Amber Rose showed up in costume. They came as trailer trash (right down to the bottle of whiskey Kanye took swigs from on his walk down the carpet. I guess no one told them Halloween isn’t for another month.
And then there was the ultimate faux pas committed by Shakira and Pink. They showed up in the same black leather and chain mini dress. However, Pink definitely worked the look better! Sorry, Shakira. Oh, and Perez Hilton, no one wants to see your pasty hairy chest. So next time you go to a televised awards show, put on a shirt. Please!
But, it wasn’t all bad. Beyoncé looked saucy in a ruffled red mini dress. And, singer Amerie looked effortlessly breezy in a blue mini dress and long wavy hair. Andy Samberg looked like the cutest dork ever…although he seemed to have inadvertently wandered away from the library and onto the red carpet.

HOLBROOK is sooooooo Fuc*ing funny! I just bought his Cologne "John Robert Holbrook - Pharaoh at Fred Segal Beauty Mix, Santa Monica and it is amazing! I was told that Robert Redford, Bill Clinton and Princess Diana's Boys wear it. Right on!

Fashion Designer, Actor John Robert Holbrook hosts the hottest Halloween party ( Hal-Ho-Ween 2009 Ball ) in Salt Lake City on Oct 30th at Pierpont Place. It is always a good time with filmmakers, actors and musicians and artists! Look for the party pictures online.....they will BLOW YOUR MIND!
