Serena Williams Outburst Video

Whoa. I would not want to mess with Serena Williams. According to the Wall Street Journal, the tennis star lost her temper at a US Open semifinal match against Kim Clijsters on Saturday, shouting obscenities at a judge after she was for a foot fault. I can understand why she was mad; the call was made late in the match, and the resulting point penalty (assessed because of a previous code-violation warning) actually ended up making her lose. Serena was fined $10,500 for her behavior during the match. Yesterday she issued an statement apologizing for her behavior: “Last night everyone could truly see the passion I have for my job. Now that I have had time to gain my composure, I can see that while I don’t agree with the unfair line call, in the heat of battle I let my passion and emotion get the better of me and as a result handled the situation poorly.”

So here’s the real question – who was more out of line, Serena or Joe Wilson? (I vote for Joe.) And since all things come in threes, who will be the next person to have an inappropriate outburst at their job? Come on, Anderson Cooper!
