Susan Boyle got wild on America’s Got Talent last night. And no, I’m not talking about her eyebrows (yay makeover!). She sang the Rolling Stones’ ”Wild Horses” as part of the massive finale that included performances from Shakira and Rascal Flatts – and, oh right…this is a competition. Singer-songwriter Kevin Skinner was crowned the winner.

While Susan’s performance last night marked her American television debut, the 48-year-old Scottswoman had already won her way into our hearts six months ago via clips of Britian’s Got Talent on YouTube. Her rendition of “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Miserables catapulted her into stardom, and even though she’s still a bit rough around the edges, last night’s performance demonstrated that she’s come a long way. She now sports designer sunglasses, blows kisses to her fans, and gets escorted to her limo by six beefy bodyguards. How adorable is this, though? She spent Monday afternoon at Disneyland.

Interestingly, Susan was not the winner of Britian’s Got Talent; it went to a group called Diversity. But are we watching videos of Diversity from America’s Got Talent? No we are not. So even though the media went crazy over Susan’s “collapse” after her loss, she is recovered and back in the game. You win, Susan. Everyone loves you!

Love her accent. And, of course, fantastic singing voice. Here's to hoping she sticks around (in America at least!)
