Fave TV Series We’re Most Psyched to See Return

Here in LA, it’s 100 degrees and the heat’s not letting up anytime soon. And that can mean only one thing: the Fall TV season is just around the corner. With summer winding to its explosive close, what shows am I most jazzed to see come back on the air?

5. House.

Truthfully, I don’t care too much about the season by season arc of this one. Will House and Cuddy get together? I don’t give a hoot. But the weekly hour of medical whodunnit punctuated with snarky rejoinders? Yes please.

4. Family Guy.

Top cult show: Family Guy…Simply one of the smartest, funniest, ballsiest shows on television. I only ‘discovered’ it last year and then spent several months glutting myself on a zillion seasons of reruns. They deserve the Emmy and everything else they want.

3. Lost.

Okay, this doesn’t come back until 2010, but it’s the final season! My mind is ready to be blown.

2. 30 Rock.

I originally started watching this one to keep up with the water cooler talk at my old office, but was quickly hooked. So funny I usually wind up watching it twice–and catching new things the second time around. This year I’ll be watching in my Liz Lemon-inspired snuggy.
