Yowza, I wish everyone would just chill with the whole marriage thing. Apparently Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom weren’t the only two lovebirds to get hitched this weekend; according to the New York Daily News, American Idolseason one runner-up Justin Guarini married Reina Capodici yesterday.
Justin, 30, and Reina, 27 have known each other since high school. “I’ve traveled all over the world but I found the woman I love right in my own backyard,” Justin told RadarOnline.com. (Aww!) “I’ve known Reina since I was 15 but we didn’t actually start dating until two years ago … Her mother was my English teacher in junior high school!”
The couple tied the knot on a private estate near the Delaware River in Pennsylvania, near where they both grew up. They personalized the ceremony by writing their own vows and including music from artists like Radiohead and Peter Gabriel instead of a traditional Wedding March. “We’re blending a lot of different traditions because my bride-to-be is Syrian and Italian and I’m black and Italian,” Justin said.
Justin has appeared in a few movies since Kelly Clarkson beat him out on Idol, including that horrendous flick From Justin to Kelly, but mostly he’s stayed out of the spotlight.
