Conan Hits His Head (VIDEO)

Working in television can be dangerous. Just ask Conan O’Brien, who slipped and hit his head on Friday, suffering a slight concussion. 

According to the Huffington Post, the injury occurred during a segment in which he was running through his studio as part of a triathlon against Teri Hatcher. Don’t worry; our favorite late-night redhead is just fine, and already able to laugh at himself about it. Check out the video:

“As many of you may know, on this past Friday’s show I was doing a stunt and I hit my head and suffered a slight concussion. And I promise, if you’re a good audience, I’ll do it again tonight,” O’Brien said during Monday’s taping.

In a transcript released by NBC, Conan joked that he struck his head so hard “that for five seconds I actually understood the plot of Lost.” He continued to make fun of his accident on Monday; he said in his monologue last night that he got so much media attention from the accident that he’s planning a sequel with a second Desperate Housewife. ”Tune in tomorrow when Eva Longoria pushes me down an elevator shaft,” he joked.

Before revealing the clip, Conan suggested that parents “wake up your children because this is a cautionary tale.”
