“Sex Degrees of Separation,” What’s Your Number?

Those crazy Brits are at it again, coming off all serious and stuffy and then shocking the crap out of us by coming out with a sex calculator that announces they each average 2.3 million sexual partners in their lifetimes.

Fall TV Review: CBS’s “The Good Wife”

CBS’ new legal drama “The Good Wife” is exactly what you expect it to be. Julianna Marguiles’ Alicia Florrick is probably the most likable character on TV, sweet and positive yet tough enough to slap her philandering Senator husband (Chris Noth), an obvious “ripped from the headlines” version of Eliot Spitzer.

Who is Taylor Schilling? The world is about to find out, since her new show Mercy premieres tonight at @ 8 pm on NBC. On the show, Taylor plays Veronica Callahan, a nurse who has just returned from Iraq. And it wouldn’t be a medical show without some relationship drama, so dreamy James Tupper plays the dude she had some history with in Iraq. Problem is, her estranged husband (Diego Klattenhoff) wants to get back together. Yowza! All this, and she’s supposed to be saving lives, too!

Do I get the channel Nat Geo (that’s coolspeak for National Geographic)? I’d better find out, because there’s a new reality show called “Rescue Ink” – and it’s about tough men who help animals. The show features eight New York tough guys, sporting scowls and plenty of tattoos who call themselves Rescue Ink and dedicate their time to rescuing cats and dogs who have been neglected, abandoned and abused.

Charlotte Grace Prinze will be one baby who is safe from vampires. According to MTV News, Sarah Michelle Gellar and her hubby Freddie Prinze Jr. welcomed their new bundle of joy this past Saturday, and “the family is over the moon.” Yay, I’m so excited they didn’t follow celebrity protocol and name her something totally weird.

Much like the awards show itself, the fashion at the 2009 Emmy Awards was a snooze. Sure there were some daring color choices and some interesting silhouettes, but no one really took a risk. Everyone played it safe. And safe is boring!

President Obama on “Letterman” (VIDEO)

A lot of comedians have joked that Bush leaving office was a terrible tragedy for joke writers. But with President Obama’s appearance on “The Late Show with David Letterman” last night, it seems that he’s a welcome addition to the comedy world. After a long standing ovation, Obama spoke about his summer, racism and even bantered with a woman in the audience who had brought a heart-shaped potato (I don’t get it either). Check out the video!
