I don’t know about you, but finding the PERFECT pair of jeans has always been an elusive quest for me. Having short legs and a too-long torso has always made it difficult to find a pair of jeans that fit my body type without having to spend extra money at the tailor. Since my middle school days, I was always cutting the inseam of my jeans or trying to find denim that would not make my long torso look even odder. And for a while, I just stopped wearing denim because it started to get too annoying.

Last night former President Jimmy Carter told Brian Williams that Joe Wilson’s “You Lie!” outburst at President Obama last week was “based on racism.” He feels that Wilson’s shocking remark is part of a disturbing trend directed at the president that has included demonstrators equating Obama to Nazi leaders.

Linda McMahon announced today she is resigning from her position as CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc., to run for Senate in her home state of Connecticut. McMahon, a Republican, will look to pinfall Democrat Christopher Dodd in the 2010 election – and it will be no easy task; Dodd was elected all the way back in 1980, and is the ninth most senior of all US Senators.

The latest slice of gossip in this never-ending pie is that President Obama even weighed in, calling Kanye a “jackass” before an interview with CNBC. Should we cut him some slack? The thing is, Obama may actually owe a lot to all of the young celebrities who supported him while he ran for president, including Kanye. But the remark was off the record (an ABC News staffer Tweeted it, making it public).
