The same day Kate Gosselin told Meredith Vieria her sob story about Jon stealing $230,000 from her, Nancy Grace and others confronted Jon Gosselin on The Insider. Nancy put Jon on the spot about his conveniently-timed decision to pull the plug on Kate Plus 8, his kids, his ever-present lawyer and his suspicious decision to move to New York. Though she comes across as hella abrasive, I think she’s asking the questions that a lot of us have been wondering. Check out the video:
“Suddenly, when it’s no longer Jon and Kate Plus 8 and it’s Kate Plus 8, you suddenly have a problem with it, and you want it to all come to an end, and I don’t believe that,” Nancy said.
“Regardless of the timing, I’m their father, and I will do what’s best for my children,” Jon said. His lawyer immediately jumped in and Nancy interrupted him, criticizing Jon for bringing his lawyer and being afraid to answer questions. “What it’s important is the children, and not these self-absorbed husband and wife who argue constantly in front of their children,” she continued.
“Exactly,” Jon said. “That’s why they’re coming off the show.” I see his point – maybe ending the show could put an end to this crazy media circus – but as Nancy pointed out, if Jon and Kate would just stop appearing on shows and accusing each other of things, that might help too.

Can’t believe this is STILL in the news, ridiculous. But, yes, while I may be suspicious of Jon’s motives (he sure likes his money), I do think it’s good if the show gets canceled. Haven’t the kids suffered enough? Let’s just end this sick tragedy once and for all.
