Debi Mazar Kicked Off “Dancing with the Stars” – and Tom DeLay Quits

debi-mazar-1 Debi Mazar won’t be Foxtrotting her way to the season finale of Dancing with the Stars. According to Good Morning America, the 45-year-old Entourage star and her partner Maksim Chmerkovsky were both eliminated from the show last night after her rumba on Monday was too stiff.

Debi says that the drama between her and her partner was exaggerated by the show, but her frustration with dancing was not. “They like to build the drama, build the reality,” she said. “For me, not being a dancer, it got repetitive and boring.” She also said it hurt, since she strained a neck muscle during a Foxtrot.

Meanwhile, former Congressman Tom DeLay booted himself off the show due to injury. He managed to perform on Monday, but painful stress fractures in both of his feet proved to be too much for him. ”I’m really disappointed I can’t go any further,” he said. “[But] you have to practice in order to be in this competition. It was too hard. I decided it was time to bow out.”

Tom’s partner, Cheryl Burke, said that she actually urged him not to dance on Monday, but he is an unstoppable dancing machine. “Tom just wanted to get through it,” she said. “I could not have done what he did Monday night.”
