The wait is over for Josh and Anna Duggar. According to The TODAY Show, the couple has given birth to a girl named Mackynzie Renee Duggar. Josh is the eldest of Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar’s 18 kids, and Mackynzie is their first grandchild. She’s 19 1/2 inches long and weighs in at an even 8 pounds. Check out the video!

Mackynzie, her parents and the whole Duggar clan will appear on The TODAY Show on Monday. Now that Jon and Kate Plus 8 has spurned a media fiasco that included suspending production of the show, TLC is turning the spotlight onto Jim Bob and Michelle and their show 18 Kids and Counting.
In addition to their new grandchild, the Arkansas couple is preparing for the birth of their own 19th baby. To celebrate, they renewed their vows as part of a special 20 Years: 20 Duggars, which aired earlier this week.
Michelle has said that having a grandchild older than one of her own children won’t be strange, since she grew up in a big family and had aunts who were the same age as she.
And Josh and Anna are likely not done with their babymaking; In January, Josh told People magazine, “I would welcome a big family. My parents have been wonderful examples.”

what rot TLC has left the world in the wake of big-family-reality-tv. really, they just need to stop at this point. so tired of seeing stories about irresponsible parents who don't know how to stop having kids. it's old.
