I was recently given a bunch of pretty good sized samples of MoroccanOil Oil treatment to try in my hair, and I must say that I was impressed. I regularly heat style my naturally curly hair. I also hate my natural hair texture and spend way more time than I’d ever admit to forcing it to go against its nature. Blow dryers, flat irons, curling irons you name it, if it gives me good hair, I will use it until I die.
I also started noticing that my hair was fighting back. It reacted to my daily abuse by becoming dry, damaged and (eeek!) brittle. The hairstylist friend who gave me the samples is in love with this product and assured me that it would help with the breakage, and so far, I am liking the results. Six weeks ago my hair was in really bad shape, months overdue for a cut, breaking all around my hairline, and getting really dry.
I started with an overnight treatment (make sure you put a towel over you pillow) of MoroccanOil. I had to use quite a bit the first time — my hair absorbed quite a bit — but I am using less now. Just a little before and after I blow dry. It made my hair much shinier than it was and my ravaged ends smoothed down just a little bit smoother. It also helps protect my hair from heat damage and brought down a lot of my frizz. When I use it, my blow drys are much smoother and I no longer have to rely so much on my flat iron to tame my hair
I still had to cut almost three inches of hair, and the stylist would have gladly cut more if I had let her. I still have a way to go until my hair is really back to healthy, but the MoroccanOil does seem to be helping. I’m almost out of samples so it looks like I’m going to have to actually buy some now. It’ll be worth it.

I've been hearing alot about Moroccan Oil Hair products. I want to try some. What products do you suggest? I have naturally straight hair, but I like to curl my hair sometimes. I don't do too much w/ my hair. I usually just let it air dry on a daily basis.

I've tried this one as well as an alternative called http://Moroccanhairsolutions.com Both products do the same, difference is the moroccanhairsolutions product is actually 100% organic with no added chemicals.

I love these products too. I use the oil treatment and the conditioner every day. I love the smell of them as well. The only thing I don't like from the line is the shampoo since my hair doesn't really need the extra boost, but the conditioner is amazing.
