The future of the GOP is quite well-endowed. According to the Wall Street Journal, John McCain’s daughter Meghan McCain, a Daily Beast columnist, posted a busty photo of herself on her Twitter last night that sparked plenty of retweets – and criticism.
The photo shows Meghan wearing strappy tank top and holding a copy of Andy Warhol’s biography. Her accompanying tweet described her “spontaneous night in.” Since she has tens of thousands of followers, the photo got around like a case of crabs, and she soon started posting messages to defend it: “So I took a fun picture not thinking anything about what I was wearing but apparently anything other than a pantsuit I am a slut,” she wrote, followed by “what once was fun now just seems like a vessel for harassment” and “when I am alone in my apartment, I wear tank tops and sweat pants, I had no idea this makes me a ’slut,’ I can’t even tell you how hurt I am.”
Later, she added, “I do want to apologize to anyone that was offended by my twitpic, I have clearly made a huge mistake and am sorry 2 those that are offended.”
I think it’s silly for Conservatives to be offended by the pic – isn’t hotness the whole reason Sarah Palin got the VP nod? But it’s also a hella busty shot, Megs. You had to know that people were going to get riled up. Anybody think this is a big publicity stunt?

HA! This is much more than a case of "wearing tank tops and sweat pants" making her a slut. If it was a simple as that, there would be no controversy. Her boobs are popping out of her tank top, THAT is the controversy. She looks like a porn star, not an aspiring political figure (I call her that based on her recent appearances on the news shows). I think she wanted people to see her as a hot girl and it unfortunately got out of hand.

Take it easy, young lady. Your dad, Senator McCain, has done a lot worse, including calling for the bomb, bomb, bomb, Iran !! You did not hurt anyone, not even your own reputation. yeah, it's clearly a pose, and she had to have known what she was doing ... that said, this in no way makes her a "slut" or whatever. a revealing photo? sure. but a slut? come on folks, we can do better
