That is surprising. An outrage really. Then again, look at the history of late-night TV: Johnny Carson, David Letterman, Jay Leno, Conan O'Brian, Dick Cavett, Craig Ferguson, etc. etc. The defining characteristic? They are all male. I mean, really, do the heads of these networks really think there are no female hosts more likable and funny than Carson Daily? Really? Wow, zero writers at all? That is surprising.
