Liz Peek, the wife of Jeff Peek (ex-CIT Group Chief Officer who helped lead the company into a $5 billion debt), is a former financial columnist who has been forced to work again in an effort to help her family stay afloat during these tough economic times. And she’s angry. I mean Sarah Palin, may-just-go-kill-a-moose, angry.

Liz has recently lashed out at President Obama for cutting Wall Street salaries and recently denying her husband’s company’s request for more government funding.

Now, I’m asking you to dig deep — deep in your hearts, deep in your unemployment checks, and deep in perhaps your husband’s bailout money — to help her.

1. Send her one dollar. If every reader sends Liz Peek just one dollar, she will be able to return to the restaurants where she and her husband were used to eating. After all, she recently said, “This year, entertaining our crowd at our usual multi-star Michelin hotspots simply would not do,” when talking about plans for her hubby’s birthday. This is an outrage. If Sally Struthers can get Americans to feed an Ethiopian child for the cost of a cup of coffee, I’d like to think my one request may get some of you to dig deep into your unemployment checks and spare a few quarters for this poor woman.

2. Find her a friend. If there has ever been a woman who should be best friends with Sarah Palin, it’s Liz Peek. Although Liz is in the poor house now, recently stating she hasn’t shopped for any new clothes aside from panty hose in the past six months, she may find solace in Palin’s average-gal ways. I’d like to envision Sarah taking Liz out for a burger and them going thrifting together, or maybe they could get together and find more things to blame the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize for — let’s be honest, he is a communist, right? I mean what leader would deny a man who has helped sink a company into a $5 billion deficit, especially when his lady needs a new purse? I’d like to picture them sitting together over Big Gulps discussing such travesties.

3. Cry her a river. What? You think you’ve got problems? Awwww — are you working 60 hours a week to make ends meet? Or better yet, can’t find a job even with that college degree of yours? Are you still wearing outfits from the ’80s because they’re still in your closet, not because it’s cool? Then thank your lucky stars. You’re a working-class American. You’ve never lived the life of a New York house wife. And consider yourself blessed. Do you know how hard it must be for her, having to go to work again and worrying about what to do when she buys a present for someone? ”If I buy a present for someone, I have the package sent to their home. I don’t want to be spotted climbing into a taxi, laden with Bergdorf Goodman shopping bags,” stated Liz. When I read that line, it brought a tear to my eye.

In short, I’m asking each of you, to say a little prayer for Liz. Shed a little tear for Liz. And consider helping your fellow American in her time of need. Unless you’re a tax-payer of course, then you already have.

Liz Peek: Welcome to planet Earth. Your Cosmic fantasy life style may be losing energy. Your existence has always been at a cost to others. Living off their backs. Your type is never really broke or doing without. That's why off-shore accounts exist. The Swiss offered avenues of convenience for the affluent, vulgar rich, money laundering, tax evading, politically connected, gangsta' scoundrels, etc., etc. Oh! Did I leave out Congress? Most Congressional men and women go in middle-class and retire millionaires. Why hasn't anyone connected the dots? Sorry, getting off point. Liz, how do you hold your head up in public? Everyone knows your'e living off of and spending tax-payers money via bail-out funds. This post is directed to all the wives and family of these white collar, Congress approved, thieves! The best thing I can say for all of you, is, may you all suffer in the worst way possible.
