In an interview with Natalie Morales that aired on TLC last night, an emotional Kate Gosselin talked more about her kids, her marriage, and her rocky time in the spotlight. TLC is obviously trying to use her as much as they can now that the show is over - she answered viewer questions in a similar special just last week.
Here’s the great irony: According to US Weekly, Kate says she just wants “peace” for her kids – and yet she keeps doing these interviews! I wonder if there’s something in her TLC contract about this stuff. “We’re too far gone,” she said. “Stepping out of the spotlight when it’s prudent to do so is a good thing.” For the sake of those kids, I hope she takes the step RIGHT NOW.
Kate maintains that she’s always putting her kids first. Although her estranged husband Jon Gosselin has claimed the show was hurting their kids, Kate said, “There is nothing that would ever force me to put them in harm’s way.” She also said there were “absolutely” times when she told cameramen to quit filming because the kids needed privacy.
Surprisingly, Kate says she doesn’t “blame” Jon for anything. She also says she “always will” love Jon. “It’s hard to be married to somebody for 10 years and try to say, ‘No, I don’t love them anymore,’” she explained. ”I love the memories we have together, the good times.”

i think its wrong for kate and john to go there own ways and not be together becasue their kids need both of them together in one place

While it does seem wrong for them to be apart when their kids need them together, you don't want to expose your children to a hate filled relationship that is only going on for their sake. Jon and Kate parted because of irreconcilable differences...they had become two completely different people.

Natalie Moralis is not much of an interviewer. All she is doing is quoting Tabloyd Mags and judging Kate on what the Tabloyds write. Does she really think Kate wants this negative tabloyd articles or photos of her? TLC should fire Natalie!
