Toni Braxton and Trey Songz Kiss – Did it Cause Toni’s Separation?

A kiss so powerful it broke up a marriage? According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, sexy songstress Toni Braxton and Trey Songz performed the song “Yesterday” at the 2009 Soul Train Awards, which were taped last Tuesday and will air on BET at 9 p.m. on November 29. With Toni’s husband Keri Lewis (formerly of the band Mint Condition) sitting in the audience, the two singers finished the duet with what looks like a pretty steamy kiss.

Since then, radio DJs, TV hosts and blogs have speculated that 43-year-old Toni and her husband are now separated. Unbreak my heart!! Do you think it had anything to do with the kiss? (And in case you’re wondering, Trey is 25…so this would be a major cougar moment for Toni!) 

I do agree that the kiss looks intimate, but it’s pretty hard to believe that A) one kiss could break up an 8-year marriage that involves two sons, and B) that Toni would knowingly do that in front of her husband if she planned to stay with him. My guess is that if they are indeed separated, that it probably happened way before this performance. Plus, nobody involved will comment on the sitch. Maybe they’re not even separated … what do you guys think?
